The number of damaged packages delivered to UK consumers has increased by a third in the past year, totaling 85 million damaged parcels. On average, consumers now receive four damaged items, up from three previously. Food and drink items are most frequently damaged, followed by household and entertainment products. If an item arrives damaged, 57% of consumers would hesitate to shop with that retailer again.
