The Deseret Peak Utah Temple is one of 367 temples planned or in operation worldwide. Nelson emphasized the temple's sacred purpose and encouraged regular worship. The church has dedicated 200 temples in 24 years, a significant acceleration from the first 100, which took 100 years.
