Only 16% of the world's largest companies are on track to meet net zero emissions by 2050, with 45% seeing increased emissions. Accenture's analysis also reveals that only 14% are using AI to reduce carbon emissions, highlighting the need for greater investment in AI for decarbonization. Despite these challenges, 52% of companies have managed to reduce both emissions and emissions intensity since 2016.
