A mother in Hampshire is urging parents to trust their instincts after her daughter, Summer, was initially dismissed by a GP as "faking" her symptoms before being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Despite concerns over constant illness and bruising, the GP suggested giving her Calpol and going home. Summer was later found unable to walk and was diagnosed with ALL. She completed treatment in June, and the family celebrated her remission with a party.
