The final supermoon of 2024, called the Full Beaver Moon, occurs on Nov. 15, appearing larger and 30% brighter.

The last supermoon of 2024 will occur on November 15, appearing bigger and brighter as it comes within about 225,000 miles of Earth. Known as the Full Beaver Moon, this event happens when a full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth. Though the size difference may be subtle, the supermoon can appear 30% brighter than usual. The next series of supermoons will start in October 2025.
