Coldplay's Sydney concerts powered by innovative solar panels, marking a green tech milestone.

Coldplay used solar technology from Kardinia Energy, a Newcastle-based company, for their Sydney concerts. The lightweight solar panels, invented by physicist Paul Dastoor, were installed in Accor Stadium seats and collected power for the band's stage and other needs during four shows. Kardinia Energy plans to expand this solar tech for use in warehouses, disaster relief, remote areas, and refugee camps.
