ADNOC Gas plans to buy a major stake in a large, low-carbon LNG project in Ruwais for $5 billion.

ADNOC Gas plans to acquire a 60% stake in the Ruwais LNG project for around $5 billion in late 2028, nearly doubling its LNG processing capacity to 15.6 million tons per year. The Ruwais plant will be one of the lowest-carbon intensity LNG facilities globally, powered by clean grid electricity. ADNOC Gas also plans to invest $15 billion over five years in low-carbon gas projects to meet rising demand.
