A 16-year-old faces manslaughter charges after a fatal car crash in Queensland, Australia.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with manslaughter after allegedly driving a stolen Audi and causing a fatal crash in Murrumba Downs, near Brisbane, which killed 69-year-old Rosemary Franzidis. The teen was also charged with robbery, unlawful use of a vehicle, and assault. His grandmother criticized the justice system and called for stricter measures against youth crime. The Queensland Premier promised action on youth crime in response.
