Vancouver Island University develops games to teach young Canadians about voting and politics.

Vancouver Island University has created two mobile games, Sage Vote and Whack-A-Party, to educate young Canadians about politics and voting ahead of the next federal election. Whack-A-Party is a trivia game similar to Whac-A-Mole, while Sage Vote challenges players to find information and answer questions around a city map. Both games aim to increase civic engagement and critical thinking skills among students and are set to be shared with local schools.
