Harlan argued that two critical calls during BYU's final drive were incorrectly made in their favor, leading him to claim the game was "stolen" from Utah. Despite the Utes having 10 penalties, both Utah's coach Kyle Whittingham and BYU's coach Kalani Sitake also expressed concerns about the officiating.
