Tripura plans a medical hub with eight hospitals and four new colleges to boost state healthcare.

Tripura's Chief Minister Manik Saha announced plans to develop a comprehensive medical hub, aiming to improve the state's healthcare self-sufficiency. The government will offer land for eight high-standard hospitals in Agartala and expand medical education with three new medical colleges and a dental college. The state also plans trauma and cardiac care centers and de-addiction facilities across districts, with Rs 515 crore allocated for health projects.
