The tournament features eight national teams from the Arabian Gulf region, divided into two groups. Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, and Oman are in Group A, while Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen form Group B. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on December 31. The defending champions, Iraq, won the previous title by defeating Oman.
