Tennessee's Dylan Sampson returned after an injury, reaching 1,000 rushing yards this season as UT leads 20-7.

Tennessee's running back Dylan Sampson sustained a lower-body injury during the game against Mississippi State but returned later in the game. Prior to the injury, Sampson reached a career milestone by surpassing 1,000 rushing yards this season and 2,000 for his career. Despite the setback, Tennessee leads Mississippi State 20-7 at halftime. Sampson also broke UT's single-season record for rushing touchdowns with 19.
