Paradise Town Council holds public hearing on vegetation removal to address weed nuisance.

The Paradise Town Council will hold a public hearing to discuss vegetation removal as part of weed abatement efforts. In October, the council declared overgrown vegetation on some properties a public nuisance and notified owners. Owners can object at the hearing, after which the council will decide on removal, potentially billing owners for costs. The council will also review emergency siren guidelines and consider an exemption for a fire hydrant repair project under state environmental law. Meetings are free and open to the public.
