Floyd Shivambu, former deputy president of the EFF, has been appointed as the new secretary-general of the MK Party, succeeding Sifiso Maseko who resigned to return to his role in the Gauteng Health Department. This move follows consultations between former South African President Jacob Zuma and national officials.
