A fire caused by explosions at POSCO's Pohang plant in South Korea injured one worker and was later contained.

A fire broke out at POSCO's Pohang plant in South Korea on Sunday, caused by multiple explosions at the third Finex furnace around 4:20 a.m. One worker was injured by burns, and seven others evacuated safely. Firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the blaze by 9:20 a.m., deploying 43 fire trucks and 120 firefighters. The cause of the fire and damage extent are under investigation.
