Dr. Andrea Smith, battling stage four breast cancer, co-founded an organization to improve support services for metastatic patients.

Dr. Andrea Smith, a 49-year-old stage four breast cancer patient, was shocked to find limited support services for her condition. Despite some improvements, such as a part-time metastatic breast cancer nurse role at her hospital, she felt more was needed. The organization aims to address the growing need for support as new treatments are extending patients' lives.
