Cambodia hosts a travel fair in Siem Reap to enhance tourism and ties with China, expecting millions more Chinese visitors.

A Cambodia-China Travel Fair is set for December 6-8 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, aiming to boost tourism and cultural ties between the two nations. Organized by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism, the event will involve about 200 tourism operators from both countries. Siem Reap, home to the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park, saw a 22.5% increase in international tourists in 2024, with Chinese tourists up 47.7%. Cambodia expects to welcome 7 million tourists in 2025, including over 2 million from China.
