Leo, a 1.5-year-old Shih Tzu-Yorkie therapy dog from Alberta, is making a positive impact at MacEwan University in Edmonton through the Pets Assisting with Student Success (PAWSS) program. Along with his owner, Kianna Rauscher, Leo has volunteered for 50 hours since January, helping students manage stress and loneliness. The program also includes various therapy animals, fostering improved mental well-being and social connections among students.
