Guyana leads the Caribbean in CSEC and CAPE exams for six years, with standout students recognized.

Guyana has excelled in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE), leading the region for six consecutive years. Education Minister Priya Manickchand highlighted standout students Anaya Couchman and David Chowtie, who topped their respective exams. Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago also celebrated seven students as regional awardees, achieving top ranks in multiple subjects for both CSEC and CAPE.
