Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has approved a proposal allowing society-run private schools to upgrade to senior secondary levels without incurring additional floor area ratio (FAR) charges. This exemption, following a Delhi High Court ruling, aims to ease the upgrading process, enabling schools to enhance facilities. Schools must still secure a No-Objection Certificate from the Delhi Development Authority and comply with relevant regulations.
