William Prince, a country-folk singer from the Peguis First Nation in Manitoba, will receive the Allan Slaight Music Impact Honour from Canada's Walk of Fame. This award celebrates musicians who positively influence the music industry. Prince is recognized for hosting "A Day to Listen" for Truth and Reconciliation Day and composing a song for Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope's 40th anniversary. Alan Doyle will perform one of Prince's songs at the ceremony on November 20.
