Mazda plans to launch the next-generation CX-5 SUV between 2025 and 2027, introducing a new in-house hybrid powertrain and the Skyactiv-Z engine, aimed at improving fuel efficiency. The automaker's electrification strategy includes a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) debuting in 2027, with phases focused on hybrid SUVs and a full EV rollout by 2030. Mazda is also collaborating with Changan to develop new SUV models.
