Malaysia's Road Transport Department (JPJ) launched Operation Khas Motosikal on November 1, issuing 28,811 notices for various offences, primarily for motorcyclists lacking valid licenses and road tax. Of 59,116 motorcycles inspected, 8,988 were found in violation, leading to 282 confiscations. JPJ Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli urged motorcyclists to renew their road tax and insurance to avoid difficulties for themselves and other road users.
