India and Bhutan inaugurated their first Immigration Check Post (ICP) at Darranga in Assam on November 7. This facility, located near the Samdrup Jongkhar border, is designed to facilitate the entry and exit of third-country nationals, boosting trade, tourism, and regional connectivity. The ICP, covering 14.5 acres and equipped with modern amenities, aims to strengthen bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two nations.
