Shiv Sena leader Mahesh Gaikwad and nine party members have been suspended for "anti-party" activities during the Maharashtra assembly elections. This decision, announced by Kalyan district chief Gopal Landge, follows Gaikwad's noncompliance with party directives. Gaikwad previously gained attention when shot at by BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad. Additionally, BJP suspended Varun Patil for contesting as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections.
