Seven-year-old Amira O'Toole Rauf, paralyzed from the waist down since a car crash at 13 months, has received a €1.4 million interim settlement approved by the High Court. The 2018 accident, involving her mother's car, resulted in significant health challenges for Amira, including the need for a pacemaker. Her mother has dedicated herself to Amira's care. The case will be revisited in two years to evaluate ongoing care requirements.
