Pembina Pipeline Corp. reports rising interest from long-term natural gas suppliers for its Cedar LNG project, which received the green light in June. The US$4 billion facility, located near Kitimat, British Columbia, will produce 3.3 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas annually for Asian markets and is set to begin construction in mid-2025. Pembina has secured a 20-year contract with ARC Resources Ltd. for half of Cedar LNG's output.
