Edtech company Physics Wallah reported a significant loss of Rs 375 crore ($49 million) for the fiscal year ending March 2024, a 346% increase from Rs 84 crore ($11 million) in FY23. This loss was partly attributed to high costs related to employee benefits and convertible preference shares. Despite these losses, operational revenue grew to Rs 1,940.4 crore ($255 million). The company raised $210 million in a funding round, boosting its valuation to $2.8 billion.
