Christopher Baxter, a 43-year-old senior manager at Charles Hurst Limited in Northern Ireland, was sentenced to nine months in prison for defrauding the company and colleagues of £127,702.25 over four and a half years. He admitted to using his position to misappropriate funds for gambling and was also using cocaine during this time. After his prison term, he will serve an additional nine months on license. The company has reimbursed the stolen funds.
