British Columbia is managing wildfire risks in Tsútswecw Provincial Park through a fuel project.

The British Columbia Wildfire Service and BC Parks are undertaking a fuel management project in Tsútswecw Provincial Park, focusing on the Flume Trail system. The initiative, running through November and into spring 2025, aims to reduce wildfire risks by removing hazardous fuel and preparing the area for public use. Residents may see smoke during debris burning, which will only occur under favorable weather conditions. Similar projects are also planned in the Cariboo-Chilcotin region.
