The Pittsburgh Steelers released tight end Rodney Williams from their active roster after trading for wide receiver Mike Williams and edge rusher Preston Smith. Williams had been signed in September 2022 and played in 13 games this season. With MyCole Pruitt returning from injury, Williams' position became redundant. The team also released practice squad players Craig Young and Andy Isabella to make room for the new acquisitions.
