Former judge Paul Lamson, 69, was arrested on Election Day in Fowler, New York, for making a terroristic threat after being denied the right to vote due to not re-registering. Lamson, a convicted felon who previously served time for bribery, threatened to burn down the polling station and return with a firearm before fleeing. He was apprehended by police and is being held at St. Lawrence County Jail on $25,000 bail.
