Colorado Springs DA rules police shooting of Michael Hurst Jr. was justified after he threatened officers.

The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office in Colorado Springs has ruled that the police shooting of Michael Hurst Jr. on May 18 was justified. Hurst, reported to be acting erratically and armed, shot down a police drone and threatened officers. After failing to comply with commands, Officer Nicholas Cassalia shot Hurst, who was found to have drugs in his system. The investigation concluded that Cassalia acted reasonably in response to an imminent threat, and he will not face charges.
