The Boston Bruins have placed winger Max Jones on waivers to assign him to their AHL affiliate, Providence. Jones, a former first-round draft pick, has struggled with performance, ranking low in team statistics and accumulating no points in four games this season. If he clears waivers, it will allow the Bruins to save cap space while giving Jones regular playing time. He is under contract until the 2025-26 season and could become an unrestricted free agent after that.
