A University of Georgia study finds omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids may lower cancer risk.

A University of Georgia study involving over 250,000 participants indicates that higher levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids may reduce the risk of several cancers, including colon, stomach, lung, and 14 others like brain and bladder cancer. The benefits were not influenced by factors such as BMI, alcohol use, or physical activity. The findings suggest that increasing intake of these fatty acids through diet could be beneficial for cancer prevention.
