South East Technological University resumed classes after a cyber attack disrupted operations.
South East Technological University (SETU) in Waterford resumed classes on November 5 after a cyber attack targeted its IT systems on November 1, leading to the cancellation of classes on November 4. The university's IT team acted quickly, and there is no evidence of data compromise. Some disruptions to internet connectivity and printing services may still occur, but lectures are proceeding as scheduled. Other campuses remained unaffected, and investigations are ongoing.
