Ontario engineers accuse the government of unlawful lockout amid ongoing contract negotiations.

Ontario government engineers, represented by the Professional Engineers Government of Ontario (PEGO), have accused the provincial government of unlawfully locking them out during contract negotiations and rotating strikes. With over 600 members, PEGO claims to have been in a legal strike position since October 8 and has halted work on major infrastructure projects. They have filed a complaint with the Ontario Labour Relations Board, asserting that the government's actions amount to an indefinite suspension.
