The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will honor former MLA and separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who passed away in 2021, during an obituary session on Tuesday. Geelani, a three-time MLA from Sopore, shifted to the separatist movement in 1989 and led the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
