HEXA Renewables launched the world's largest offshore floating solar plant in Taiwan, boosting renewable energy goals.
HEXA Renewables, backed by I Squared Capital, has launched the world's largest offshore floating solar power plant in Changhua County, Taiwan. Covering 347 hectares with a capacity of 373 MWac, this project supports Taiwan's goal of achieving 20GW of renewable energy by 2025 and net-zero emissions by 2050. It is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 136,000 tons annually and provide renewable energy to around 74,000 households.
