Former China Development Bank VP Zhou Qingyu sentenced to 15 years for bribery and fined 5.2M yuan.

Zhou Qingyu, the former Vice President of China Development Bank, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for bribery by the Changchun Intermediate People's Court. He was fined 5.2 million yuan and had illegal gains of over 67.43 million yuan confiscated. From 2013 to 2023, Zhou accepted bribes for loan and project assistance, and continued to seek illegal benefits after leaving the bank. His cooperation during the investigation contributed to a lenient sentence.
