China's Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, set to be the world's highest, has installed its first girder.
The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou Province, China, has successfully installed its first steel truss girder, weighing 215 tonnes. With a planned height of 625 meters, it is set to be the world’s highest bridge upon completion in 2025. Spanning 2,890 meters, the bridge is part of an expressway connecting Liuzhi special district and Anlong County in the Bouyei-Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
