A skeleton, thought to be that of Aloïs Iffly, a former homeowner who disappeared 15 years ago, was found in an attic in Erstroff, eastern France, during renovations by new owners. The remains were located in a hard-to-reach area, and a rope was discovered nearby, suggesting a possible suicide. Iffly vanished in 2009 at age 81, and his disappearance remained unresolved despite extensive searches. Police are investigating, and the remains are sent for forensic examination.
