In October, home sales in Greater Vancouver rose 31.9% compared to last year, totaling 2,632 transactions, signaling a potential market rebound following four interest rate cuts by the Bank of Canada. New listings increased by 16.9%, reaching 5,452, while total listings hit 14,477, 26.2% above the 10-year average. However, the composite benchmark price decreased to $1,172,200, down 1.9% from October 2023 and 0.6% from September.
