The eighth Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit will be held in Kunming, China, on November 6-7, chaired by Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Leaders from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, along with the President of the Asian Development Bank, will attend. Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh aims to strengthen regional cooperation and discuss sustainable development, infrastructure, and climate change initiatives during his visit from November 5-8.
