Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a six-month taxi-sharing pilot service connecting Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi. The initiative aims to reduce travel costs for commuters, allowing savings of up to 75% when sharing a taxi. Passengers can pay AED 66 each when four ride together. The service seeks to ease traffic congestion and cut carbon emissions, with potential expansion based on its success.
