China is enhancing its green development policy and reducing emissions ahead of COP29 in Baku.

China is advancing its green and low-carbon development, establishing a "1+N" policy for carbon peaking and neutrality. Over the past decade, its clean energy share rose by 10.9 percentage points, aiding global efforts by reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 810 million tonnes in 2023. The country aims to play a constructive role in climate negotiations, particularly at the upcoming COP29 in Baku, continuing its support for global climate action.
