Two separate car accidents occurred on Interstate 70 in Kansas, resulting in injuries. In Wabaunsee County, two women were hurt when their Buick hydroplaned and struck a Chevy pickup; both were hospitalized, while the pickup driver was uninjured. In Wyandotte County, three people, including a 9-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries in a collision involving a Dodge and a Ford, while the drivers of both vehicles were unharmed. All involved were wearing seatbelts.
