ONGC's third bid to find partners for the Deen Dayal gas field in the Bay of Bengal attracted no interest.

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) of India has failed to attract bids in its third attempt to find partners for the Deen Dayal gas field in the Bay of Bengal's KG basin. Acquired in 2017 for $1.2 billion, the field has produced minimal gas. The latest tender aimed at securing technical and financial partners saw no interest, highlighting ongoing challenges in developing the field, initially believed to hold significant gas reserves.
