Oman’s OPAZ tenders infrastructure upgrades at Duqm fishing port to enhance fisheries and renewables.

The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) in Oman has issued a tender for infrastructure improvements at the Duqm fishing port, supported by the Saudi Development Fund. The project includes developing utility networks and is open to Omani and Saudi consortiums, with bids due by November 18. The port, covering 7.5 square kilometers, aims to bolster fisheries and green energy initiatives, enhancing Duqm's role in food and renewable industries.
